The NSWCRURA selects appropriate referees from across all NSW Country Zones for a range of junior appointments including the NSW Country Age and State Championships as well as a range of schools carnivals and appointments that might be offered resulting from these championships.

The referees appointed to the 2024 NSW Country Age Championships held across the state over the June long weekend included:
