The NSW Country Rugby Union Referees Association (NSWCRURA) is the affiliate body of nine member associations:

Central North Rugby Union Referees Association
Central West Rugby Union Referees Association

Illawarra Rugby Union Referees Association
Mid North Coast Rugby Union Referees Association
New England Rugby Union Referees Association

The NSWCRURA appoints referees to various NSW Country and NSW Rugby Union representative fixtures across the state. Our premier carnival each year is the NSW Country Senior/Colts/Women’s Championships where representative teams from all Zones contest the Caldwell Cup, Richardson Shield, Rowlands Cup and Thomson Cup.
In addition, our referees are appointed to the range of age groups in the NSW Country/State Age Championships. In appointing to all of these carnivals, we provide a wonderful development opportunity for referees of all stages in their careers which they can then take back to their own Zones for the betterment of all referees.

There are games to suit all levels for any interested participant and all training courses are run as local events in each Associations area. So come along and enjoy the game from the best seat in the house – it can be for your enjoyment and/or your initial step in a pathway towards a professional career.
